Woodward Memorial Library

With the elementary school's addition of their own library in 2017, the Woodward Memorial Library saw some huge changes  to the downstairs children's section. We loved their idea of combining play and literacy. As an early childhood educator, Cris believed in the importance of play and the role it takes in a child's development. We decided to donate several items to add to the new "play wall". We also donated funds towards new books to be purchased in Cris' name. Cris' family members can visit the library often and see children enjoying books that include a beautiful book plate inside the cover.

Cris' niece Kristi has a beautiful daughter, Anna,  who loves to visit the library and play and read.

In May of 2018 we were able to make another donation of books to the Wolcott Street Memorial Library. The books were purchased for the children's library and many were board books made for babies and toddlers! This donation was made possible through the donation from the Tri The Oatka committee.
